Consumer + Family + Community + Government = Success 

Look beyond the traditional government and hospital run mental health programs and services.  Picture these entities modernized and co-existing within an array of community based programs, including ClearBlue Sky.  With a range of treatment and housing options, such a system would blow the mental health revolving door off its axis.

CLEAR BLUE SKY is a community of people creating success for each other in areas where they struggle the most. 

In 2003, the New Freedom Commision (NFC) on Mental Health said, “Consumers and families are often experts in understanding what truly works for them.  As a consequence, consumer- and family-led programs are often highly effective in promoting recovery and offering the most appropriate services to peers and families.  But consumers and families cannot drive a broken system.”

In addition, “in a transformed system, federal, state and local leaders will work together to ensure the existence of a consumer- and family driven system and will use available resources more effectively.”  CLEAR BLUE SKY is bound for a lasting success because we rely on input from the people who daily live with and are affected by the effects of mental illnesses. However we cannot do it alone.
